We use a low-loss ferrite material, with the (formula) optimized by adding Manganese Oxide (MnO) and Lithium Oxide (Li₂O). This reduces hysteresis losses by 25%, improving the MPV fuel pump motor magnet's efficiency and reducing heat generation.

Surface Treatment of Fuel Pump Motor Magnet
To protect against corrosion and physical damage, magnets typically undergo surface treatment. Neodymium magnets are particularly vulnerable to corrosion and usually receive protective coatings such as nickel, zinc, epoxy, or gold. These coatings extend the magnet's useful life while preserving its magnetic properties.
The coating thickness must be carefully controlled. Too thin, and it won't provide adequate protection. Too thick, and it creates an unwanted air gap that reduces the magnet's effective strength in applications.

Store your magnets at a sufficient distance from each other so that they don't inadvertently connect. If this is not possible, we recommend the following methods so that you can easily separate the magnets again:
Keep plastic spacer rings that may have come with the original packaging for later use.
Place, for example, a piece of wood, sturdy cardboard, thicker plastic or thin sheet of iron with low ferromagnetic properties between the magnets. This will allow you to slide the magnets off sideways when needed.
- Remove all metallic objects from your person and store well away from the area the magnet will occupy
- Clear the area of all clutter and magnetic materials before opening magnet container.
- Open the magnet container on a non-magnetic work surface. Wood or plastic surfaces are preferable. Make sure there is not a magnetic surface underneath the wood or plastic work surface.
- Open only one magnet at a time. Never have two unprotected magnets within four feet of each other.
- Never leave an exposed magnet unattended. Return magnet to its protective enclosure before leaving the area.
- Use only non-magnetic tools, fixturing, and measuring devices when working with magnets.
- Be sure to wear safety glasses at all times when handling magnets.
- Mark magnet work area with appropriate warning labels and signs and barricade area if possible. Alert co-workers of the hazards, and keep all unauthorized people out of the work area.
