Manufacturing of Heater Motor Magnet
Sintering is one of the most significant stages in the magnet manufacturing process. The green compact is subjected to extremely high temperatures, exceeding 1,000°C, in a controlled atmosphere. This causes the particles to fuse, resulting in a dense, solid structure.
Sintering strengthens the material and enhances the magnetic properties by locking the particles into an organized crystal lattice structure. But sintering is a delicate process. If the furnace temperature or atmosphere is slightly off, it can impact the magnet's final quality, leading to inconsistencies in strength or durability.
Storage Environment of Heater Motor Magnet

Temperature
Neodymium magnets have a Curie temperature, which is the point at which they lose their magnetic properties. For most motor neodymium magnets, the Curie temperature ranges from 310°C to 400°C. It's important to store these magnets in an environment where the temperature remains well below this threshold. A stable room temperature between 20°C and 25°C is generally recommended. Extreme heat can cause the magnets to demagnetize permanently, while extreme cold can make them more brittle and susceptible to cracking.
Humidity
Moisture is one of the biggest enemies of neodymium magnets. They are made of a combination of neodymium, iron, and boron, and the iron component is highly susceptible to rust. High humidity levels can accelerate the corrosion process, leading to a reduction in the magnet's performance and lifespan. To prevent this, store the magnets in a dry environment with a relative humidity of less than 60%. If possible, use a dehumidifier in the storage area to maintain optimal humidity levels.
Air Quality
Exposure to certain chemicals and pollutants in the air can also damage neodymium magnets. For example, sulfur-containing gases can react with the magnets and cause corrosion. It's advisable to store the magnets in a clean, well-ventilated area away from sources of chemical fumes, such as industrial emissions or cleaning agents.
