Car Electronic Handbrake Motor Magnet

This electronic parking brake motor magnet is developed for passenger cars with limited installation space and strict noise requirements. The design focuses on stable holding force, quiet operation, and long-term reliability rather than exaggerated performance figures.

The magnet uses Barium Ferrite material with multi-pole magnetization to achieve sufficient torque within a compact size. With a diameter of 45 mm, it provides a static holding torque of up to 18 N·m, ensuring reliable parking on slopes and preventing vehicle rollback under normal operating conditions.

To reduce operating noise, the magnetic circuit and slot structure are optimized for smoother torque output. Additional damping measures are applied to limit vibration transfer, keeping operating noise below 28 dB(A), which meets the acoustic expectations of passenger vehicle cabins.

The magnet is fully encapsulated with high-temperature epoxy resin and can operate continuously at temperatures up to 155 °C. This ensures stable performance during repeated EPB activation, long holding periods, and emergency braking situations. Durability testing confirms more than 2 million operating cycles with torque degradation controlled within 3%.

Electromagnetic compatibility meets CISPR 25 Class 4 requirements, ensuring the EPB system operates reliably without interference with other onboard electronic systems. This magnet is designed as a practical, stable, and long-life solution for modern automotive electronic parking brake systems.
