Truck Electronic Handbrake Motor Magnet

Designed for the extreme loads and harsh environments of commercial trucks, our truck electronic handbrake motor magnet prioritizes brute strength and absolute reliability above all else. We utilize military-grade ferrite material, achieving a top-tier magnetic energy product (BHmax) of 50 MGOe. This translates into an enormous static holding torque of 45 N·m, providing the truck electronic handbrake motor magnet with the capability to secure the heaviest laden trucks even on significant inclines under the most challenging operating conditions.

Product Introduction

The truck electronic handbrake motor magnet adopts a high-strength ferrite material grade commonly used in military and heavy-duty industrial applications. Through material formulation and magnetic circuit optimization, the magnet achieves a magnetic energy product (BHmax) of up to 50 MGOe, enabling a static holding torque of approximately 45 N·m. This output level is suitable for securing fully laden commercial trucks on steep gradients and under high gross vehicle weight conditions.

Mechanical robustness is enhanced by increasing the structural thickness to approximately twice that of conventional EPB magnets. This reinforcement allows the assembly to withstand continuous vibration levels of up to 5G and mechanical shock loads reaching 150g, which are typical in long-haul freight transport, poor road conditions, and off-road access environments.

Corrosion resistance is addressed through a multi-stage surface protection system. The magnet assembly incorporates phosphating as a base treatment, followed by hot-dip galvanizing, epoxy powder coating, and a final fluorocarbon resin sealing layer. This layered protection structure has been validated through salt spray testing exceeding 5,000 hours, ensuring long-term stability in high-humidity, high-salt, and chemically aggressive operating environments.

To improve system safety, the magnetic design allows overload detection by monitoring saturation behavior under abnormal operating conditions. When overload thresholds are detected, the EPB system can enter a protective mode to prevent damage to the motor or transmission mechanism.

The operating temperature range spans from -55°C to 150°C, supporting reliable function in extreme cold and high-temperature climates encountered in global truck operations.

Durability verification includes endurance testing of more than 3 million actuation cycles. Throughout testing, holding torque and magnetic performance remain within controlled limits, supporting the reliability requirements of heavy-duty commercial vehicles where EPB system failure directly impacts operational safety and vehicle compliance.
